And back to our normal programming…
I’ve been slacking as of late. Most of my time has been focused on writing my forthcoming book titled The Black Book of Psychiatry. It will cover hypnosis, persuasion, propaganda, and brainwashing techniques that are probably better left unpublished, but since I don’t subscribe to death cult ethics i.e. the three great monotheistic world religions, and my true purpose is to free people and not enslave them, I have no problem publishing this book.
Anyways, starting tomorrow my regular daily posting schedule shall return. I have created a writing plan which I will loosely follow. Since I am writing so much I tend to become disorganized, both physically and mentally. The following numbered list should correspond to days of the month. If I am hit with a sudden gust of inspiration then I may post whatever comes out, but this list will guide me more or less.
1. Metaphor
2. Brainwashing
3. Altered States
4. Sales Techniques
5. Self-hypnosis

Hi and glad you are back.
The Black Book of Psychiatry - That sounds like a must-read book.
I’ve never heard the 3 great world religions described as death cults before but it takes just a second of thought to understand how perceptive that comment is - they are based upon living your life in a way that will determine what happens to you when you die.
Your list of up-coming topics has me very enthused and eager to learn more.
- Graham.
PS a while ago you posted something on Milton Ericksen and in particular this:
“You don’t consider yourself a therapist, but you are a therapist.” And I said, “Well, not really.” He said, “Well, let’s pretend . . . that you’re a therapist who works with people. The most important thing . . . when you’re pretending this . . . is to understand. . . that you are really not . . . You are just pretending . . . And if you pretend really well, the people that you work with will pretend to make changes. And they will forget that they are pretending . . . for the rest of their lives. But don’t you be fooled by it.” And then he looked at me and he said: “Goodbye.”
Ever since I read that, something has been different - I feel much more at ease with myself.
